For the third year running, P&O Portsmouth is delighted to have picked up an award for “Best Ferry Operator (all other routes)". The company carried the most vehicles ever in one year, more than 500,000. Pride of Bilbao, the company's Cruiseferry to Spain, carried nearly 50,000 of these vehicles, the most since the service began in 1993.

Passenger carryings for 2001 were also up 7% on the previous year, with nearly two million people choosing the company's service to travel to Cherbourg, Le Havre and Bilbao. With up to 58 sailings per week to Le Havre and Cherbourg, and twice weekly cruises to Bilbao in Spain, P&O can fit in with your plans perfectly.
