Newhaven Dieppe Ferry

Sea Cat Over 175 years ago the first regular passenger service from Newhaven to Dieppe started. Once the railway age dawned, travellers used the route as it was the shortest journey between London and Paris. It is now used as an access to travel in Brittany, Normamdy and the rest of France.

In 1999 Hoverspeed, started their daily summer service that continues until the end of October each year. Using their Seacat Fastcraft, journey time is only 2 hours. The only trouble with the Seacat is that it can't sail when the sea is too rough.
